tired muscles

This week has been tough on my body!

I had my first practice again for Sizzle Girls.  We are learning a Samba routine.  It’s a lot of bouncing and moving my pelvis forward and backward and also walking all at the same time.  My ass hurt for 2 days after.  But it was a good hurt.  I know I will have a great looking ass at the end of 14 weeks!   A friend of mine has a really cool head piece that she brought back from Trinidad and Tobago.  It’s full of sequins and feathers.  I can’t wait to show my dance teacher on Tuesday!  I know I’m going to have to work on relaxing my hips to do this show piece.  This will be a good challenge for me!

This week was also busy outside of work.  I was out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday till 10pm each night except for Monday.  I had fun out at the meetings that I was at, but the last thing I wanted to do yesterday was go to the gym.  But I did go anyway.  I did some work with a trainer and we stretched my glute muscles.  Oooowww!!!!  It hurt so much to stretch it out.  But again, I know it was a good stretch.

Got to keep on track!  This coming week I’m not as busy, I’ll be able to get to the gym a bit more to work out.  Which is a good thing!

I also know that it will get easier.  My body will get used to the workouts and dance practices again.
